The first time you open Freshchat, you will see a window at the top with the question:
"The auto-assign chat function is disabled. Do you want to enable it?"
If you are an Employee of the Chat Department you need to click "YES".
If you are not an Employee of the Chats Department or just want to check the chat client you need to click on the "NO" button.
You can also disable or enable the Auto Assignment feature by clicking on the profile in the upper-right corner.
